Fire retardant construction with timber
Standard types of wood usually get a fire class D or E rating according to the previous EU legislation. The new legislation means treated or modified timber products are no longer automatically classified as “Classified Without Further Testing” (CWFT). This means that all finished wood must be tested and demonstrably comply with the requirements. Anker Stuy, Accoya and independent testing institute Peutz have done many certified tests to prove the quality of Ankoline FR Hydrostain on Accoya.
