Wooden facade

Wooden facade

Also for treating wooden cladding, Anker Stuy Coatings has a wide range of KOMO-certified coatings that offer excellent durability against climatic influences. The latest development is a fire-retardant stain, Ankoline. This maintains fire class D; upgrading from E to D is also possible. The entire range includes the right finishing options for all requirements and production environments.

Guaranteed outdoor durability

The products have been extensively tested and are supplied under KOMO quality mark and are annually tested to BRL 0817 & BRL 0821. The entire range is non-film forming making it ideal for facade cladding.

For wooden facade construction, we offer the following product groups:

  • Ankoline FR (Fire Retardant) is specifically designed to comply with European fire safety legislation in force since August 2024. The product increases the fire safety of wooden applications in buildings, such as facades and tongue-and-groove boards. Ankoline FR is available in various colors as well as a transparent variant, which also preserves a natural wood appearance.
  • Hydrostain is a non-film-forming, water-based stain based on an alkyd emulsion. Thanks to this composition, the product contains a high percentage of bio-based raw materials. Hydrostain penetrates deeply into the wood and provides excellent protection against weather influences, such as Uv-radiation and rain.
  • Woodstain consists of opaque and transparent stains that can be used on many different types of wood. These products can be applied in different ways. For example, by means of spraying equipment but also via a vacuum coater or pouring curtain. We are also able to develop or reproduce colours together.

Based on the location and type of wood, we can provide no-obligation advice for the most durable finish. We also provide guidance in the application process where necessary.

Anchor Stuy & Accoya

For various applications of Accoya wood, Anker Stuy offers a solution. Accoya coated with Anker Stuy Coatings lasts significantly longer: the wood barely shrinks and swells and is more resistant to deterioration. As a result, coatings stay intact much longer and require minimal maintenance, ideal for applications in hard-to-reach areas such as high-rise buildings.
